  We offer the largest physical-political and political wall maps available for classroom use! Our award-winning maps are accurate, brightly colored, and also feature cross-section and thematic maps.

• Dear Mr. President’ Essay Contest

  Around 8,000 students submitted essays for the Dear Mr. President Essay Contest, in which Rand McNally asked, “If you could ask the President to address one important issue, what would it be?” Students built essential writing skills and developed their unique voices about the issues that matter most to them through this curriculum-based contest for grades 7-12.

• Play the Election

  Rand McNally’s award-winning, community-driven learning experience helped students understand the 2012 election process through interactives and curriculum-based competition. Over 1,500 students and teachers registered for Play the Election. Students predicted the election winners for each state on an interactive election map, and compared their predictions to their class and the country to see where they ranked. Teachers utilzed standards-aligned lesson plans to develop content-rich election units. Play the Election was the recipient of the “Best of Show” and “Best Games Course” Awards at DevLearn 2012.
